Why "Slow Churn Journal?"

"Slow Churn" is an indirect nod to the Slow Foods movement, and to ice cream that sounds like something grandma made. Somewhere in my head these seem to relate to my creative process, and pace.

“Journal,” because it's been a lifelong habit to jot down notes about everything, my songs tend to be more personal than universal, and because I want to keep track of where I've been, where I am, and all my melodic ups and downs.
